Work Life programWe have a new program available in 2025 that offers work preparation and supported work.
There are two options: 1. supported work in our social enterprises in Logan, Queensland 2. a mobile work option. Based in Logan: The Workshop social enterprise This is a combination of making items to sell and selling them in our shop. For example, dog biscuits, bath bombs, sensory toys... Available weekdays. The Games Library social enterprise This is our subscription borrowing service in a neuro-affirming hub. The games are speech therapy resources, books, and toys. There is an online catalogue and delivery service. Available Thursdays. Plus there is learning work skills through the 'Work it' program and a Business Studies learning module, both simple, visual and suitable for people with intellectual disability. Of course, there are plenty of games of Uno, drawing, and having fun with friends too! Mobile Supported Work
This is a new mobile program starting in Southeast Queensland in 2026. We are trialling it in late 2025. The participants are grouped with a buddy and support workers and wages are earned through profit-sharing. Available 7 days a week. There are two work activities: 1. Containers for Change The young adults gather 10 cent return containers and collect the refund. They can be found in:
The young adults make dog biscuits in The Workshop each week. These are delivered to vet surgeries, dog groomers and dog friendly cafes. The venues on-sell the biscuits. |
